Showroom Privacy Policy.

This policy explains how Showroom handles your selected photos, local albums, website visits, and support requests. For privacy questions, contact raderlabs@gmail.com.

Photo viewing and albums work on your device.

This policy covers the Showroom Android app, versions 0.3.0 and 0.3.1, the iPhone app in development, version 0.2.0, and this website. The iPhone version is not yet available on the App Store.

Showroom uses the photos you select to display them and, when you choose Save album, to keep a local album for future viewing. It also stores album names, file references, cover images where used, and setup preferences needed for those features. Showroom does not upload your photos or albums to us, sell them, or share them with advertising or analytics services. The apps have no accounts, advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs, or app-operated cloud storage.

The Android app has no internet permission. Opening help or this privacy policy uses a browser; visiting the website and contacting support involve the separate processing described below. The iPhone app also opens this policy in a browser view.

You choose the photos Showroom accesses.

On Android, select images in your gallery and share them to Showroom. On iPhone, use the system photo picker or share selected images to the Showroom extension. Showroom does not request broad access to your whole photo library.

Android temporary viewingThe viewer reads the photo references supplied by your gallery. Showroom does not create saved copies unless you choose Save album.
iPhone temporary viewingThe app and share extension copy the selected image representation into a temporary session so it can be viewed. Opening an existing saved album uses its saved files.
Saved albumsChoosing Save album copies the selected image files into private app storage. Up to four albums can be kept and reopened offline.
Album detailsAlbum names, file information, cover images where used, and setup preferences are stored locally. These details are used to display and manage your albums.
Image metadataCopied files may retain metadata supplied by your gallery or photo picker, such as the date, camera information, or embedded location. Showroom does not strip that metadata or upload it.
OriginalsSaving, replacing, renaming, or deleting a Showroom album does not change the original photos in your gallery.

Each album supports up to 500 photos and 250 MiB of stored image data, with a 50 MiB limit per photo. Your gallery, device system, or cloud-photo provider may supply a converted image or download a cloud-stored selection before Showroom receives it; their own privacy settings and policies apply.

Your device handles authentication.

Opening and managing saved albums requires device authentication. Android uses its screen-lock controls; iPhone uses the device’s Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode controls as available. Showroom receives the authentication result, not your PIN, pattern, password, passcode, or biometric templates.

Saved files are held in private app storage. The iPhone app additionally applies iOS file protection to saved albums. The apps do not implement an independently encrypted vault. Authentication protects the app’s normal library access and album management; it is not a promise that every device feature or storage recovery method is blocked.

Keeping the viewer on screen uses Android screen pinning or iPhone Guided Access. These are device features that you must configure and test. See the Android locking guide, or contact Showroom support for help.

Retention, deletion, and backups.

Saved albums: copies and album details are kept locally until you delete or replace the album, clear the app’s storage where supported, or uninstall/delete the app. On Android, tap Open albums, authenticate, open the album’s options menu (⋯), choose Delete, and confirm. In version 0.3.0, the library button is Your albums and Delete appears directly on the album card. On iPhone, authenticate to open your library, choose Owner controls for the album, then Delete album, and confirm. Replacing an album removes its previous saved selection from the library. Your gallery originals remain unchanged.

Temporary viewing: Android reads the supplied references without saving an album. The iPhone app attempts to remove temporary session copies when viewing ends. If viewing is interrupted or cleanup fails, leftover temporary sessions older than 24 hours are checked for removal when a new temporary session is created; this is not a scheduled 24-hour deletion guarantee.

Setup preferences: onboarding and locking-setup choices are stored locally until app data is cleared or the app is deleted. iPhone Offload App can preserve app data; use Delete App if you intend to remove it.

Backups: automatic Android app backup is disabled. The iPhone app marks saved albums and temporary sessions as excluded from device backup; ordinary setup preferences may follow system backup settings. Manufacturer transfer tools, original gallery photos, and separate backups follow their own settings. Keep your originals or another backup if you need to preserve them.

Deletion uses ordinary file removal and is not a secure-erasure guarantee. If a deletion fails, copies may remain in private app storage. Since we do not receive your app’s photo library, we cannot remotely view, recover, or delete it. There is no Showroom account to delete.

Website requests and service providers.

This website provides product information, support, and downloadable files. It has no user accounts, contact forms, advertising scripts, or analytics tools added by Showroom. The album demonstration uses bundled illustrations and does not access your photos.

The site is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security providers process standard request information, including IP address, browser details, requested pages, and request times, to deliver content, operate the service, and protect against abuse. They may set security cookies, including Cloudflare’s __cf_bm bot-protection cookie. These are separate from your locally stored Showroom photos.

Provider-managed logs and security information follow the providers’ retention and privacy practices: OpenAI Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy, and Cloudflare cookie information. Your browser and app store may also process information under their own policies.

Support emails and privacy requests.

If you email raderlabs@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the message, device details, screenshots, or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request, troubleshoot the issue, and handle related follow-up. Support does not require you to send your personal photos.

Our email provider, Google/Gmail, processes correspondence to deliver and store email under the Google Privacy Policy. Support messages are kept only as needed to handle the request, necessary follow-up, and applicable legal or security obligations.

To ask about information you have sent us, request access, correction, or deletion, or withdraw consent for further use of optional support information, email the same address with “Showroom privacy request” in the subject. We will review your request and may need to verify that it concerns your information. Any required retention will be explained. For photos stored only in the app, use the local deletion controls described above.

Changes to this policy.

We will update this page and its date when Showroom’s data practices change. Any future feature that changes photo access, uploads, accounts, or tracking will need updated disclosures and any permission or consent required before it is used.
